Dr. Grantham Shell is a Mobile native who completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of South Alabama followed by a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Shell practiced at a Mobile orthopaedic group for 7 years prior to forming Gulf Orthopaedics. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, an active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. With a commitment to leading-edge techniques and technology, Dr. Shell provides his patients with the very latest treatment options for foot and ankle injuries and other orthopaedic trauma.

When Dr. Shell isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is very active in the community and also enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.
